Most operators focus on either fixing businesses or building new ones - I do both, depending on where the business needs me to enter.  I’m a hands‑on operator with 25+ years of experience leading and scaling businesses across manufacturing, distribution, logistics, and digital commerce.

Owners and executives bring me in at critical moments - when growth outpaces systems, operations slip, or a new proven business line needs infrastructure built around it.

I embed with their teams to restore clarity and execution.  I’ve led P&Ls from startup to $30M+, materially improved cash flow and profitability, and built new revenue engines from scratch.

I’m based in the greater Charleston, SC area and hold a degree in Economics and International Business from Penn State.

Abstract digital interface with glowing nodes and data connections.

I operate at the intersection of legacy industries and modern digital execution.

25+ years in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. 20-year parallel track in eCommerce and online retail - from building one of the first online LTL quoting systems to scaling multi-channel operations across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, D2C, and wholesale.

25+ years in manufacturing, distribution, and logistics. 20-year parallel track in eCommerce and online retail - from building one of the first online LTL quoting systems to scaling multi-channel operations across Amazon, eBay, Walmart, D2C, and wholesale.

I'm most effective where physical product, supply chain, and sales channels must align - particularly businesses transitioning from traditional models to digitally enabled operations.

ERP and CRM implementation. eCommerce infrastructure. Channel restructuring. Inventory, pricing, and demand visibility.

These industries don't need reinvention. They need modernization, alignment, and the ability to scale without losing control.

The ER3 Approach

Experience only matters if it drives execution and results.

I operate with a Real, Raw, Results mindset - focused on what's actually happening inside the business, not what should be.  I call out problems directly, move fast on what matters, and cut what doesn't.

No over-analysis. No theory for its own sake. Clarity, structure, and executio

No over-analysis. No theory for its own sake. Clarity, structure, and execution.

That mindset drives a repeatable system - Architect → Integrate → Stabilize → Control → Scale - that moves businesses from complexity to forward momentum without losing control of what's working.

It's not a framework.  It's how I operate.

types of engagement

Forensic Assessment

A structured, on-site diagnostic that surfaces the real state of the business across operations, commercial infrastructure, leadership, systems, and financial performance.  Scope is defined around the decision you need to make - it can be as focused as a single question, such as whether you need a CRM and which one, or as broad as a full operational and organizational review. You leave knowing where you actually stand and what needs to happen first.

When you need to understand what is actually happening before deciding what to do next.

Discuss an Assessment

100-Day Sprint

A time-bound execution engagement focused on a defined area of the business and a specific outcome that can realistically be achieved within 100 days.  The mandate may involve one critical priority or several closely connected ones, but the scope remains contained and the finish line is clear. ER3 establishes the milestones, accountability, and operating cadence - then works alongside the team to deliver the agreed outcome.

When the objective is clear and the work can be accomplished within one quarter.

Discuss a 100-Day Sprint

Embedded Operator - Defined Mandate

A longer-term embedded engagement for complex initiatives involving multiple departments, stakeholders, vendors, or interdependent workstreams - typically running three to twelve months with a clearly defined mandate and deliverables.  ER3 works inside the organization to own the initiative end to end - sequencing the work, aligning stakeholders, removing obstacles, and carrying it through completion.  Unlike a fractional executive role, the engagement is centered on a defined initiative, not ongoing leadership of the company or function.

When the work crosses functions and needs someone to own the initiative from inside the business.

Discuss an Embedded Operator

Fractional Executive — CEO / COO / GM

An embedded executive role designed primarily for turnarounds and greenfield builds - whether that involves a company, division, business unit, function, market, or product offering.  This includes international companies establishing or restructuring U.S. operations, where the gap between what headquarters expects and what the market requires demands an operator who understands both sides.  Not a part-time adviser - a fractional executive with a defined mandate, operating authority, and accountability for outcomes, with an agreed transition point built in from the start.

When the situation requires an operator who is deliberately outside the existing system.

Discuss Fractional Leadership

Founder Operating Review

A fixed-scope, remote operating review for early-revenue product businesses that have proven customers will buy - and now need to determine what the business must build next.  Built for founders whose business has outgrown instinct alone, the review converts scattered information and competing priorities into sequenced decisions and a practical 90-day operating roadmap. Fixed investment, delivered in one week.
